HOW TO ADD A GIVEAWAY OR PAID BUNDLE EVENT

This forum section was made for members to add current or upcoming giveaways, or paid bundle events. 
This can be your hosted event, an event you are participating in, or one you are aware is happening. 

Members only, are allowed to post to the calendar section for new events. The public can see these events, but can not post or reply. Please be sure to add the event you are posting to the calendar, you MUST set the start date AND the end date. This way the calendar will automatically end the event status.

HOW TO USE THE CALENDAR:

When you post in this section, specifically to Events and Giveaways

which is where you are now, you will notice if you scroll down, CALENDAR.
Click the little plus on the far right of that bar below, and it will show slots to fill in the time etc.

CLICK DIRECTLY ON THE CALENDAR DATE YOU WANT TO ADD (EASIER!), 
OR MAKE A NEW POST IN THIS FORUM SECTION! Then follow the directions below...

When you are creating a new topic, you will have "Calendar Options" under the post screen - (this does not work if you reply to a post). There you can choose the date and the time of the calendar event as well as the duration.





An event will then be displayed for the according day(s) in the calendar: 
BE SURE THE EVENT HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN ADDED!




In addition, you can also create events directly from the calendar by clicking the small icon in each calendar-day. (find calendar in upper menu, or forum side panel) This method may be easier for you, as you can click directly on the date you want to add.


NOTE: I PREFER you to add your events to the calendar through an actual post, because this will allow you to describe the event. Just be sure your post title is short and to the point, as this is what will show up on the calendar. If it is too long, it will take too much space, or not show the entire title.
