Oh my gosh! The font is super hard to read. Is it a blog hop? Haven't done one of those in years.

The style of font that was used, against the green of the site overall. I love fancy fonts, but not on blogs. This is how I see it.

do you suggest me changing the font, or simply making it larger.

Had to edit the image btw, it made the page stretch

My suggestion? Change the font and make it a bit bigger. And the tabs cross the top? The words are not sitting inside the boxes they are in. Remove the boxes, or make them match up with the line under them.
Are you using a theme or created it on your own?
I looked at in two different browsers to see if what I saw was happening or not. Sorry, when I first started on the web back in 2004 was as a web designer. So when I see something? I get stuck on things. LOL

I just changed it to merriweather, and size 16...

unfortunately the posts already there will remain in cherry font, until I post a new post.

I have also been designing websites for myself and others since 1995, but I see what you are saying, and no, this was not my template, I used one of the platforms templates. 

I kinda like the colors and background because it does scream food, but am always up for suggestions too, especially when it comes to people having a hard time reading (like me lol) altho I never noticed it being hard to read before, but that is just me. It is always good to have another set of eyes to see what you might not be able to.

Look now, and tell me if you can read it any better. If not I will try again

Oh that is so much easier to read and understand! Number one rule in everything is, don't let the customer feel dumb cause they can't do something. You lose lots of people that way before you even have a chance.

Did you mean HAD, or I still have.... If you mean the highlight when you mouse over, I kind of like that hint of color there.

The color doesn't cover the whole box it is in. Having a hint of color works well with the rest of the blog look over all. But you should cover the whole of the box when you do.

honestly, I think this event is in the css of the template somewhere, and I don't have the time or the eyes to go searching for it right now. Maybe I will check on it some other day, but I am already doing about 3 things at once...

OH my gosh, I know that feeling! I am working on color ideas, I have a order just come in. I am waiting on my label person to send me my bill, and I just took photos for those new colors so I can add them to my Etsy shop! Oh my can you tell I am a Gemini??

I removed the shading altogether....

and while I am thinking about it, I decided yesterday, screw Am a zon...
they don't pay much, and they are a pita with all their rules etc....

I am going to begin removing them over the next month, and replace the slots with affiliates that actually have value...
