The older you get, the higher level of SPF you need to wear. Over 30? Start wearing SPF 45 or higher. Sunscreen is one of the number one skincare product you need to wear, even if you are just sitting at home.
We must understand that our poor eating habits, too many fats and sugars, too many coffees, are bad for our skin. As well as smoking is and excess alcohol. All these bad habits are going to show up on our face as acne or with smoking fine lines showing up before their time. That is why smokers tend to look older than others who are part of the same age group.
With a good diet with enough proteins, vitamins and minerals. That means eating lean meat (or none), fish, poultry, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruits such as avocado, cucumber and cabbage are highly recommended. Those that are non-meat eaters can find ways to get all what you need right from vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Avocado and cucumber are good to eat and good to use on your face at the same time. Cucumbers good de-puff your eyes, just make sure its cold and place thin slices on your eyes and relax for 10 minutes. Potatoes can be used the same way.
Potato de-puffer:Take a half of a raw potato and cut 5 to 10 very thin slices that easily be molded to the skin. Spritz your whole eye area with filtered water, and arrange the potato slices around the eyes. Leave on for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Avocado can be used as a mask to help draw out any impurities your skin may have. Just mash half one up and apply to your face and relax for 10 to 15 minutes.

Vitamin E is good as well, but it's a debate among some dermatologists that it is as good on your skin as you taking a supplement would be. Yet there are women who swear by vitamin E, taking it 200 mgs worth of capsules, squeezing the oil right onto their skin, saying it thickens it, dries up whiteheads and erases wrinkles.
